We at Lee Valley Saddlery use the expertise of Master Saddler Adam Ellis at UK SADDLES LTD to handcraft all our bespoke saddles.

At our instruction, together with Adam’s small but dedicated team of highly skilled saddle makers, we are willing to go that extra mile to achieve the high level of excellence that puts us in the pole position of saddle making.

Using Adam’s bespoke service we can offer you a saddle that is truly made especially for you. Whatever your preference for a saddle, tell us what you want and we will incorporate it into your new saddle.

While the top of the saddle will be made for you, the underneath is made for your horse. The panel will be cut to suit the shape of your horse eg deep cut front panels and extra full gussets at the rear for high withered horses with prominent spines, to broad flat panels for wider horses. No two horses are the same, so no two saddles should be the same.

The saddle trees are the skeleton of the saddle and must be perfect for your horse. These spring trees are traditionally made using laminated wood for lightness and steel for strength. We can supply saddles for all disciplines in a variety of types and colours, from first pony general-purpose saddles to Advanced Dressage saddles.

If you are looking for quality used saddles, we also have available a selection of pre-owned saddles which we are happy to bring out to try on your horse.
